We will:

• Make decisions based on our values and the 6 Rs – Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle
• Comply with and exceed all relevant regulatory environmental requirements
• Regularly monitor and improve our environmental performance
• Regularly monitor and reduce our environmental impact
• Incorporate environmental factors into our business decision making, including selection of suppliers and partners
• Increase environmental awareness of all our people through initial induction and engagement in making this policy real in our charity
• Encourage our members and other stakeholders to reduce their environmental impact, and facilitate this as much as practicable when anyone is visiting our Libraries
